Sawyer this week....25 down!

Head to heels, your baby now measures about 13 1/2 inches. His weight — a pound and a half — isn't much more than an average rutabaga, but he's beginning to exchange his long, lean look for some baby fat. As he does, his wrinkled skin will begin to smooth out and he'll start to look more and more like a newborn. He's also growing more hair — and if you could see it, you'd now be able to discern its color and texture.

23 weeks pregnant

Hello World

Sawyer decided to make himself known to the world this weekend...

1:15am Sunday morning I am laying and bed and have, what I think is, a braxton hicks contraction. Soon after that Sawyer starts going nuts...kicks, wiggles and punches all around. I felt my stomach and was pretty sure I could feel him on the outside so I woke Vince up and make him feel. Sure enough, Vince could feel Sawyer kicking around for the first time. He just kept saying, that's so crazy, that's so crazy! It was pretty cool that his daddy can feel him now.

3:30pm Sunday afternoon I was enjoying a cupcake treat/girl time with Jamie and Stephanie. The sugar must have caused Sawyer to get wiggly because he was moving around pretty good again. Steph was taking a cat nap so I made Jamie feel my stomach and sure enough he gave a her a good kick. We both went, oh and looked at each other wide-eyed. So cool to share this experience with others!

He's just saying hi to all his people....hello world....I'm coming!!!
