29 and holding....

Vince got me this funny cookie cake for my 29th birthday (notice how we dug right into it). Then my parents babysat while we enjoyed a long dinner at The Melting Pot!! Holy cow...30 comes next!!!!!

Maturna-tea

One of the really neat things that happens after a birth at the Birth and Women's Center is a maturna-tea. This is where all the mommies and babies born in the same month get together and swap stories, laughs and tears. The best part for me was getting to take this great picture at the end!

New Tradition...

Today we started a new tradition of taking Sawyer to see Santa...I plan on continuing this until he goes to college :)

Sleep Training....

OK, I am starting to think about sleep training...in the next 2-4 weeks. I need help from all the moms who have gone before me! Please leave a comment and tell me what you did to get your baby to go to sleep on their own. Sawyer right now needs us to rock him to sleep and soon we want to train him out of that. Help!! What did you do that worked?? What didn't work?? How long did you swaddle?? How did you transition from the swaddle?? Did you let them "cry it out??" Did it work? How long did it take?? Etc....
